On Saturday, August 13th, 2016, our Nucleus Team, attended the 2016 Black Alumni Networking Expo. The event consisted of vendors from all around DC, Maryland, and Virginia showcasing their products, services, and outreach opportunities. Throughout the event, people came up to our table intrigued about our mission and the importance of positivity in all aspects of life. Our favorite part of the expo was the interactions between onlookers who were lured in by our passion and bright faces. Our goal was to enlighten others about our organization and how we utilize digital media to promote an optimistic mindset and lifestyle. We also sold our lifestyle merchandise where we debuted a new product, our Caviar Atom x New Era Hats. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of the Virginia Peninsula.

Networking with others through this expo has allowed us to obtain a wider audience to spread our message. We are so thankful for the connections we have made and look forward to doing more events and spreading the word. Stay tuned as we are only getting started!
